*So I just was reminded of this film today, there was a post on the NYTimes website about this short french film from 1956 by director Albert Lamorisse. It is about a young french boy who "meets" a red balloon. The two form an unique bond and the spend the day walking the sunkissed streets of Paris...Watch this clip if you have the time!
